Poslanik sallallahu alejhi we sellem je rekao:

„Blago li se Šamu (Siriji)!” (tri puta je to ponovio). Ashabi upitaše: “Zašto o Allahov Poslaniče?”, pa je odgovorio: „Allahovi meleki svoja krila pružaju nad Šamom.”
